Gauge: 17 sts and 27 rows/4 in/ 10cm over stockinette stitch.
What You Need: 924 (1037, 1117, 1194) (1301, 1391, 1496) yds/ 848 (951, 1024, 1095) (1193, 1275, 1372) m of a similar aran weight or heavy worsted weight yarn.
Circular needle at least 32 in/ 80cm long *(Largest sizes may be more comfortable on a longer needle)* in size required to obtain gauge. I used US #6/ 4mm. You may need a size or two above or below that.16 in/ 40 cm circular needle in same size as above.

Pattern Notes: The body of the sweater is worked from the bottom up in one piece back and forth in rows to the armholes, then split into back and two front sections. Shoulders are seamed and then sleeves are worked top-down, with sleeve cap stitches picked up around armholes and shaped with short rows. Neck and front bands are picked up and knit at the end.
