Flame Keeper Shawl

This is a traditional triangular shawl, worked from the center out in a pattern that resembles large and small flames. It was inspired by Mary Chapin Carpenter's song "A Keeper for Every Flame". "Sometimes it's a fire burning out of control, Sometimes it's nothing but a candle glow? There's a keeper for every flame." The lace pattern is both charted and written. The different shawl sizes are created by working extra repeats of one portion of the lace pattern.
