Sea Smoke Hat Pattern

Who says you can't have a little vintage glamour on a frosty day? This hat has a lacy side fan knit right into the ribbing. Add a special button and pair with my Sea Smoke Scarf (pattern sold separately) to face winter with style. This pattern is appropriate for an intermediate level knitter. The hat is worked from the crown in the round on double pointed needles before switching to an optional circular. The drop lace fan is worked separately and then its stitches are worked together with the ribbing section of the hat near the brim.
